Why Result Hunter?

I'm the owner and creator of Result Hunter.
I made Result Hunter because I wanted a different search experience, one with less big media articles and more articles that are straight and to the point with data and individual contributors. I wanted this without sacrificing all the more fun, entertaining, or quick fact-based searches I might conduct.
I've intentionally built Result Hunter with my own time and money so that I can do what I think is right, rather than be influenced by investors or other stakeholders.
Is Big Tech Bad?
Let's talk about big tech search engines. They are incredible at technology. Technologically speaking, big search engines have sent the human race further toward the future.
Big tech might know your browsing activity, and may know a lot about you. But they don't know your values and your needs or what kinds of causes you'd like to support. They have their own biases, and it's important to realize that those biases are baked into their algorithms, rankings, and homepage.
- These signals often just mean the rich get richer, favoring those with political and social advantage, regardless of truth.
- Entire topics have been intentionally silenced by major platforms like Google and Bing.
It's risky for freedom-loving, family-first citizens to let this happen.
If Big Tech controls the flow of information across the web, they control the political and social narratives of our time.
Our search engine values individuals above collectives, truth over agendas, and freedom over collectivism.
How It Works
When you make a query, the core search is powered by Brave APIs, but we add our own heavy modifications to bring forth independent voices and reduce the noise of big media conglomerates.
For ads, we take a free speech approach: whoever is willing to pay the most for a keyword gets the top spot. Our primary ad network is Strong Keyword. If you're an advertiser, you can reach our audience directly through that platform.
The best way to use Result Hunter is via our browser extensions for Chrome, Firefox, and Safari, which help preserve your settings and privacy across sessions.
By default, Safe Search is set to Strict to maintain a family-friendly environment, but you can adjust this easily in the customization menu.
